Q: Why do I need a professional coordinator?
A: So much happens while planning your wedding, perhaps you should first ask yourself.
Do I have the time to plan a wedding that is not in my community?
Do I have the resources to make sure the vendors I choose are reputable?
Do I have enough information about the area, accommodations, events, and the services needed?

In addition, other couples have asked,
Who will line up the wedding party for the processional?
Who will cue the musicians when the wedding party is ready to enter?
Who will keep things moving along so there is no confusion about what is supposed to happen next?
Experience, training, and the desire to know more are factors to consider when hiring a wedding consultant.

Q: The location I have chosen has an in-house coordinator. Why do I need someone else?
A: Most banquet facilities and hotels have staff, that, in addition to other duties, also act as wedding coordinators.
Their main concern of course is making sure everything including their property is taken care of.
Most of them are extremely professional and experienced. However, some locations have multiple events going on at the same time.

If personal attention is important to you, then hiring a professional consultant to attend to your needs, from the wedding ceremony to the reception is a desired choice.
Your location site may not have the staff to handle small emergencies that might make a big difference and of course sometimes staff changes over and you may be left with someone who is not involved in your wedding from start to finish.
